When I tell people I’m a high school math teacher, I usually get one of two reactions.
“Ooh, I hated math in school,” or “Cool, I was awesome at math.”
I don’t know what it is about this discipline that gets such vast reactions from people.
Me? I love teaching -- in fact, I’d go as far to say that I’m passionate about my teaching. Athough I think math can be fun, I chose to teach this subject because I was good at it.
